Sharon Y Griffith

Sharon Y. Griffith, 83, a resident of Danby, passed away December 1, 2020 after battling Parkinsons. Sharon was born in Minneapolis, MN on December 9, 1936 to the late Vernon and Helen Lueck Currier. Sharon met her husband Tom working on a ranch in Montana. Later she worked in banking, the Vermont Country Store, and Orvis. Sharon loved gardening and working on the family farm. She was very artistic which was evident in her painting, crafts, sewing, leather work and braided rugs. She enjoyed listening to country music and the sounds of the Beach Boys. Sharon is survived by her husband Tom Griffith of Danby, children Linda Burton (Danny) of Cincinnati, OH and Melissa Reed (Bill) of Arlington, VT, her brother Jeff Currier of Naples, Fl, grandchildren Lindsey, Adam, Nicolle and Kate and great grandchildren Nicholas, Shane and Josh. At the request of the family funeral services will be private. There are no visiting hours.
