Sharon Patrick

Sharon L. Patrick, 58, a resident of Rupert, VT, passed away October 27, 2017 at Rutland Regional Medical Center following a courageous battle with Ovarian Cancer. Sharon was born in Bennington, VT on January 12, 1959 the daughter of James Tyrrell, Sr and Barbara R. Wilkinson. She attended Arlington, VT schools and was a 1977 graduate of Arlington Memorial High School. Sharon worked along side her husband Tim for many years owning and operating their Property Maintenance Business and owned her own cleaning business. In her earlier years, Sharon played women's softball in the Bennington Woman's League, a co-ed volleyball league and enjoyed hunting. She loved anything to do with horses, volunteering at equine rescues, listening to various types of music, her dog Merle and cherished times spent with her family. Sharon is survived by her husband of 33 years Timothy Patrick whom she married October 27, 1984, children Dennis Patrick and his wife Marissa of Barre, VT and Angela Menton and her husband Matthew of Watertown, MA, her mother Barbara R. Tyrrell of Arlington, VT, brother James Tyrrell, JR and his wife Susan of Shushan, NY, sister Bonnie Cross and her husband Ernie of Petersburgh, NY and granddaughter Eilis. She was preceded in death by her father James Tyrrell, SR. Visiting hours at the funeral home will be held Wednesday evening November 1, 2017 from 5-7pm when the family will be in attendance. A celebration of the life of Sharon L. Patrick will be held Thursday November 2, 2017 at 11am at Brewster-Shea Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Pawlet Mountain Cemetery. The family would like to thank the nurses on the 5th floor oncology unit at Rutland Regional Medical Center for their compassion and service during our difficult time.
