Sharon B. Stone

Sharon passed away on April 5th, 2025 surrounded by the love of all who knew her. She was born on December 12, 1957 to Patrica and Loyerston Bovey of Dorset, VT. Sharon's life was spent riding horses at Netop Farm in Dorset Hollow, baking sweet treats for friends and family, and gardening at her home on Dorset Hill Road. Sharon had one daughter, Samantha, and four daughter-like nieces, Tracy (Chelcie) Carey, Sandy Casey, Amanda Casey, and Tanya Casey. Sharon found true joy and happiness in time spent with her granddaughters, Arieana Stone and Emma Greene.

Sharon is survived by her daughter Samantha Stone of Manchester, VT, sister Teresa (Steven) Casey of East Dorset, VT, brothers Linwood (Cheryl) Bovey of Brandon, VT, Larry (Lorri) Bovey of Danby, VT, Paul (Anne) Guay of Peabody, MA and several nieces, nephews, and cousins whom she cherished so dearly. She was predeceased by her father, mother, and niece Sandy Casey.

A funeral service honoring Sharon’s life will be held on Saturday, April 26, 2025, at Dorset Congregational Church, located at 143 Church Street in Dorset, Vermont. The service will begin at 11:00 AM. Family will have a private burial immediately following the service. Please bring your fondest memories to share during a lunch served in the Church Vestry.
