Shawn Michael Crandall

Shawn Michael Crandall, 42, a resident of Pine Ridge Road, passed away January 4, 2023 at his home. Shawn was born in Bennington, VT on January 13, 1980 the son of Janice Crandall and his father who raised him since he was one year old, Leon E. Hall, Sr. Shawn attended Bennington schools and graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School. Shawn was a “Jack of All Trades”. He split firewood, worked as an auto mechanic and did carpentry. Shawn enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, riding 4-wheelers and side by sides, enjoyed country music, especially listening to Hank Williams, Jr. Most of all he loved spending time with his children and his dogs. Shawn is survived by his children Grace and Ely Crandall both of Bennington, his parents Janice Crandall and Leon E. Hall, Sr., of Bennington and his step brother Leon E. Hall, Jr. Memorial services and a time of visitation will be held at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT and will be announced at a later date.
