Shirley Lola (Shambeau) Reynolds

Shirley Lola (Shambeau) Reynolds 91, A longtime resident of Whitingham VT, died peacefully in her sleep at the Vermont Veterans Home in Bennington VT, on October 4, 2018. Where she was well taken care of. Shirley was predeceased in death by her husband of 70 yrs, Stewart B. Reyolds, a son Terrance Reynolds, a daughter Peggy (Reynolds) Porter. Survivors include 2 sons Joseph Reynolds, and Donald Reynolds, 2 daughters Nancy Janovsky, and Denise Carrier, three sisters, Audrey Eilers, Hildur Murdock,and Sharon Mirke. Shirley was blessed with 12 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and 4 great-great grandchildren. Shirley lived to have 2 huge milestones in her life; she celebrated a 70th wedding anniversary on April 6, 2017 before Stewart passed away and she had her 91st birthday August 22, 2018. Her enjoyments in life were, sewing, cake decorating, reading, and a love for cooking, until she lost her sight and could no longer do them. She enjoyed visits with her family and friends the most. There will be a Graveside Service only on, October 21, 2018 at 2 o'clock at the Sadawga Cemetery in Whitingham VT, where she will be laid to rest next to her husband, son, and daughter. In lieu of flowers,send donations to Whitingham Fire Dept. and Deerfield Valley Rescue. Both were wonderful to her when needed. Friends and Family are welcomed to gather for refreshments at the home of Denise and Allan, 243 Goodnow rd. Whitingham VT following the service.
