Steve Alfred Cyr, 54, currently of Dorset, Vermont, formerly of Windermere,FL passed away peacefully in his sleep on February 19th, 2024. Going to his eternal home with our Heavenly Father in Heaven. He was born October 19th, 1969 in Rockville, CT to loving parents Edwina & Alfred Cyr, and was the older sibling to younger brother Tony Cyr of New Brunswick, Canada. Steve was a committed partner & faithful husband of 22 years to his soulmate and wife, Tiffani Cyr. He remained a dedicated devout Father and dutiful life coach to sons Brenden Tyler Cyr, 22 yrs old of Orlando, FL. And Blake Aaron Cyr, 20 yrs old of Miami, FL. A very Proud and doting uncle to nieces Nicole, Kelsy, Kylah and nephews Alex, and Gabriel. Steve was a loyal friend and faithful family member to all who knew and loved him. His positive presence, infectious personality and enthusiastic laugh will be forever missed by a large immediate and extended family. Steve was a licensed General Contractor who prided himself on sharing the same exact profession of carpentry and working with his hands,as did our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. His love,passion and legacy for building and development will forever be captured by his expert craftsmanship, timeless devotion to design and superior quality built into every one of his projects. Recognized for such excellence, Steve was awarded by winning many prestigious honors including awards on both a regional and national level. Including, but not limited to, the distinguished Aurora Award for the SouthEast Builder of the Year, and also recognized by winning multiple Parade of Homes together with his Father, Alfred Cyr & Brother, Tony Cyr in Florida. Outside of working hard everyday of his life, Steve graced the lives of all he came in contact with by practicing and putting into action his beliefs in “The Golden Rule”. Steve treated others, regardless of whom they were, the same way that he would want them to treat him. Funeral service for Steve will be held Sunday February 25, 2024 at 3:30 at the First Baptist Church in Manchester. A visiting hour at the church will be held from 1:30-2:30 one hour prior to the service. A celebration of life will follow at the Wilberton Inn 257 Wilberton Drive in Manchester Village.
