Steven Carbonaro

Steven A. Carbonaro, Sr., 62, a resident of East Road, passed away Tuesday October 4, 2016 at his home. Steven was born in Bennington on February 21, 1954 the son of Nicholas and Rita (Allard) Carbonaro and attended Bennington schools. Steven was a United States Army Veteran serving his country from 1973-1980. Steven enjoyed building motorcycles and guns. He loved watching wildlife, deer hunting and spending time with his family. Survivors include his children Steven A. Carbonaro, Jr. of North Bennington, Dustin Carbonaro of St. Petersburg, FL, Kyle Carbonaro and Barry Carbonaro of Bennington and Nickie Carbonaro of Pownal, his mother Rita Schaefer of Bennington, sisters Cynthia Desautels of Bennington and Dianne Coltey (Richard ) of Poultney, Vt, grandchildren McKenzie, Joseph, Avery, Addison, Alice and Archer, two great grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins. He was predeceased by his sister Patricia Gosselin and his father Nicholas Carbonaro, Funeral services for Steven will be held Wednesday October 12, 2016 at 3pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. There are no visiting hours. Interment will be private. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Steven's memory may be made to the Disabled American Veterans, c/o Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 957 Bennington. VT 05201.
