Susan Patricia Byron

Susan Patricia Byron, 71, a resident of Wilmington Vermont, passed away peacefully surrounded by family, May 21, 2015 at Center for Hope Hospice in Scotch Plains, NJ. Susan was born in Brooklyn, NY on October 10, 1943 the daughter of Bernard J. and Eleanor P. (Rooney) Reilly and attended Sacred Heart Academy. She attended Business School for two years, worked at Grumman Aircraft and also worked alongside her husband in the family business,(Wide Ridge Distributor,Inc.). Susan loved skiing, gardening, golf and knitting and cherished times spent with her family and friends. She was also a member of Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington. Susan is survived by her husband Harry Byron of Wilmington whom she married April 19, 1969, son Shawn Byron and his wife Laura of Westfied, NJ, sisters Jeanne Reilly and Judy Eibler and grandchildren Ashley and Patrick Byron. A Christian mass will be celebrated Saturday May 30, 2015 at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington at 12:30. Interment will be private. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, in lieu of flowers, memorial gifts in Susan's memory may be made to Patients Resource Fund (Southern Vermont Oncology Center), c/o Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home P.O.
