This obituary celebrates the life of Suzanne Alice Wells Wurzberger, born on June 7, 1938 in Trumbull, CT.Some of her greatest joys in life involved sharing life's adventures with her husband Albert Wurzberger. They met in college where he graduated from Norwich University and she from Vermont College. She told the story so many times of how she and her girlfriend Doris were fixed up with two cadets on a blind date. After meeting both men, she told her girl friend, Al was hers :-). And from that moment forward they spent 58 years together (Married for 56).After years of traveling with her husband's army career and giving birth to two children, C S & Albert, she and Al settled in the town of Wilmington, VT. There he opened the 1836 Country Store and she opened the Norton House, a quilter's paradise. She was so excited to combine her love of sewing and quilting history. She also loved sharing her joy of quilting by founding and managing the Deerfield Valley Quilt Show each year. She was devoted to her faith and the Congregational Church. For over 20 years she led the Women's Guild as president and coordinated may church functions such as strawberry suppers, rummages sales, plant sales, and much more. Her other joy was connecting with nature. She loved to feed and attract wild birds, especially in the Spring when the Cardinals would arrive. Sitting at her kitchen table and identifying each bird and ensuring each species had their favorite foods. She also loved to watch the deer, woodchuck, raccoons, skunks, and an occasional bear that also came to visit. She is survived by her husband Albert G. Wurzberger, daughter C S Wurzberger, son Albert J.
