Thomas J. Snow, Jr

Thomas J. Snow, Jr 79, passed away at Berkshire Medical Center, MA June 28, 2016 with his loving family around him.Born in the Bronx December 17, 1936 to the late Thomas & Ann (Clark) Snow and married in the Bronx to his loving wife Carole for 59 years. Thomas was in the Army for 2 years stationed in the US. Then worked for Finast Supermarkets for over 20 years in the Bronx and Long Island . Then moving to Hillsdale, NY to open Snow's Superette and Liquor Store for 15 years. Moving then to Arlington VT to open Snow's Arlington Diary Bar for the last 24 years. He was a 4th Degree Knight for the Knights of Columbans, a member and President of the Lions Club and a member and treasurer of the Hillsdale Fire Company. Thomas and Carole spend the winters in Fort Pierce FL. He loved to go fishing, bowling, playing bocce and dominos and spending time with their many loving and loyal friends. He is survived by his wife Carole, 5 children: Edward (Ann), Daniel (Kathy), Trish (Steve), Thomas III, Kathy (Greg). 9 Grand children: Edward Snow Jr., Ashley Snow, Kristi Boerger, Danny Snow, Tim Snow, CJ Hills III, Tyler Hills, Hunter Hills, Kyle Tamburro and 7 Great Grand children. Survived by his brother Donald (Annette) Snow, 2 nieces Jennifer and Cheryl, his cousins Jack (Sarah) Koster, Joan (Ed) Stemmter. He was preceded in death by his sister Ann Marie Brady.A Mass of Christian Death and Burial will be celebrated Saturday July 2, 2016 at 9am Christ Our Savior Church St. Margaret Mary's in Arlington. Interment will follow in St. Columbans Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Friday July 1, 2016 from 4-8pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel Historic Route 7A Arlington, VT.
