Tommy Lee Cross

Tommy Lee Cross, 61, a resident of Warm Brook Road, passed away Tuesday February 16, 2021 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. Tommy was born in Bennington, Vermont on September 11, 1959 the son of the late George and Blanche Thomas Cross. He attended Arlington, VT, Massachusetts and Maine schools. Tommy worked as a maintenance person for Applegate in Bennington for 18 years before retiring. He was a member of the Sons of the American Legion in Massachusetts and enjoyed riding motorcycles, old jeeps, listening to classic rock and loved being at his home especially barbequing. Tommy is survived by his significant other Kathryn Canon of Arlington, sisters Selina Toro and Leisha Cross of Bennington and step-children Anthony Johnson of Sandgate, Steven Johnson of Rupert, Shawn Johnson of Shushan, NY and Forest Johnson of Granville, NY and their families. At Tommy’s request there are no formal funeral services. The family has entrusted arrangements to the care of Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel, Historic Route 7A Arlington, VT.
