Tony A Croft

Tony A. Croft, 61, a resident of Warm Brook Road, passed away December 12, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Tony was born in Freeport, Long Island, NY on January 15, 1960 the son of Lester Stallings Croft, Sr. and Betty L. Burgdol and attended local schools. In his earlier years, Tony worked for the Hale Company and then worked as a mechanic for the various telephone companies for 36 years. Tony enjoyed classic cars, especially Ford's. He enjoyed plowing snow and splitting wood. He enjoyed the song Thriller on Halloween and was an avid NASCAR fan especially Mark Martin. Tony is survived by is wife Lorraine Lewis Croft of Arlington, VT whom he married in Sandgate, VT on July 18, 1981, his daughter Katrina Frazer (Luther) of Sunderland, VT, his mother Betty Croft of Bennington, brothers Lester Stallings Croft, Jr. of New York, Scott Croft of Sunderland and Todd Croft (Heather) of Manchester, sister Penny Burdo of Oregon, grandchildren Brianna, Tiffany, Frances and Nichole. And his best friends Mark Robinson and Dave Davis He was preceded in death by his father Lester Stallings Croft, Sr who passed away in 1991 and his granddaughter Whitney. There is no formal funeral service at this time. A time of visitation will be held Thursday December 16, 2021 from 4-6pm at Hanson Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel, Historic Route 7A Alington, VT. A celebration of life will be held when the weather warms up at 1593 Warm Brook Road in Arlington.
