Ulysses Ivey, Jr.

Ulysses Ivey, Jr., 39, a resident of Main Street, passed away October 26, 2022. Ulysses was born in New York City on May 20, 1983 the son of Ulysses Ivey, Sr. and Darlene Pruitt and attended local schools. He enjoyed gaming, fishing, window tinting and spending time with his family. He loved collecting knives and music and was amazing at drawing which he had done since childhood. His proudest accomplishments were his children and owning his own business. His family meant everything to him and was his main motivation in life. Ulysses is survived by his partner for over 20 years Shannon Matteson of Bennington, his mother Darlene, children Naomi, Lauren, Natalie, Natasha and Narissa Ivey, his siblings Tylene Ivey, Shimea Ivey, Jacinta Pruitt, Ulysa Ivey, Fatima Ivey, Izzy Marrero, Atasha Johnson, Ishmel Marrero, Darlene Street, Arbu Marrero, Kahliah Cooper, Rasheen Marrero, Joseph Cooper, Tatiana Coleman and Alita Coleman. He was preceded in death by his son Ulysses Ivey, III. Funeral services for Ulysses will be held Saturday November 5, 2022 at 12pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Visitation at the funeral home will be held from 11-12pm one hour prior to the service.
