Ursula Fischer Tancrel, 89, died Friday, December 15th at home in Jupiter, FL. She was predeceased by her husband, Edwin M. Tancrel, who died in 1999. They were married for 50 years. Surviving relatives in the U.S. are two nieces, Gwenette Isché Kangis of Providence, RI and Merrette Isché of Auburn, AL, along with 4 great nephews, one great-great nephew and one great-great niece. In Germany, one surviving relative, a cousin, Eva-Marie Gest of Berlin, Germany. In addition, she leaves her dear friend of more than 25 years, Heide Praver. Ursula worked for many years managing marketing and sales for AVON International in NYC, traveling all over the world for the company. After retiring to Wilmington, VT, where they lived for more than 25 years, Ursula and Eddie opened Crafthaus, a studio representing such fine artists as Will Moses (painting) and Josh Simpson (blown glass.) Both Eddie and Ursula were artists themselves. Ursula created intricate cloisonné jewelry, and Eddie, masterful brass and copper wall sculptures. A Memorial Mass will be celebrated January 13, 2017 at Our Lady of Fatima Church in Wilmington, VT at 12pm. Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery following the service. There are no calling hours. As a memorial gift, it would be greatly appreciated if you would perform at least one act of kindness each day in Ursula's memory. Services for Ursula Tancrel HAVE BEEN POSTPONED by the family due to the projected weather forecast. We will post a new service date when it has been rescheduled
