Viola E. "Tootie" Fuller

Viola E. "Tootie" Fuller , 85 died April 28, 2019 at Rutland Regional Medical Center. She was born in Granville VT on December 9, 1933, The daughter of Lona Shirley Haggett and William Haggett of Granville VT. She grew up in Granville, VT and later moved to Wilmington, VT where she met her husband John W. Fuller. They were married March 1, 1955 and together they had five children, Sandra L. Fuller Young of Pittsfield MA, Denis J. Fuller, Gary D. Fuller of Wilmington VT, Bruce B. Fuller of Wilmington VT and Robert L. Fuller also of Wilmington VT. She then later movie to Rochester VT in 1987. Tootie enjoyed NASCAR (Earnhardt JR), Baseball (Boston Red Sox), Fancy Cars, cooking and all things red. Tootie enjoyed her family, friends and customers most of all. Tootie worked at the Pownal Race Track in Pownal, VT and many restaurants throughout VT for 63 years as well as owning her own restaurant called "Tooties Place" at Mount Snow Ski Area. Tootie was predeceased by both her parents, her husband John and their infant son Denis. She is survived by many including her four children, two grand children, four great grand children, nieces, nephews and many close friends. There will be no services at Tootie's request.
