Wanda Bowen

Wanda L. Bowen, 66, a resident of Borough Road, passed away April 5, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Wanda was born in Bennington on July 26, 1951 the daughter of the late Warren Lake and Elizabeth Moore. She attended Dorset schools and was a graduate of Burr & Burton Academy. Wanda enjoyed her home, crocheting, baking and listening to the sounds of the oldies especially Elvis and the Beatles. Wanda is survived by her husband Jack Bowen of Sunderland. Children Jack Bowen, II and his wife Heidi of Kansas, Jason Bowen and his wife Sarah of Arlington and Tammy Crawford of Sunderland, her brother Warren Lake, II of Bennington, her sister Lorraine Brown of Arlington, seven grandchildren and three great grandchildren. A celebration of the life of Wanda L. Bowen will be held Saturday, April 14, 2018 at 11am at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home Arlington Chapel, Route 7A Arlington, VT. Interment will follow in Ira Allen Cemetery in Sunderland. A visiting hour will be held at the funeral home from 10-11am, one hour prior to the service.
