Wilhelmina Nemetz

Wilhelmina "Billie" Nemetz, 85 years young, a resident of West Dover, VT and a former long time resident of Florham Park, NJ and Orange, NJ, died Tuesday 7/28, peacefully at her home with her children and Bayada Hospice nurses by her side. She spent the last months of her life surrounded by her family and her dear friends. Billie was born in Toronto, Canada on September 30, 1929 to her loving parents, Thomas and Lydia Howard, and enjoyed growing up in Toronto with her three sisters, many cousins, aunts and uncles and attending the public schools there. Billie had a full life with her beloved husband, Charles, who predeceased her in 1993. Before and after his death, she volunteered in the public schools in New Jersey, was an aide with the local Girl Scout troop that her daughter belonged to, was an active participant in her two sons sports activities and was a volunteer driver with Meals on Wheels. She also held a job with a local jewerly store, which she loved, and helped her older son at Associated Tire in Orange, NJ.Billie is survived by her children, Michael Nemetz and his wife, Anne, of Charlotte, NC; Karen Sabin and her husband, Kevin, of West Wardsboro, VT and John (Jack) Nemetz and his wife, Yennie, of Summit, NJ; her most treasured grandchildren, Kelly Sabin, of Orlando, FL and Kameron Sabin of West Wardsboro, VT; her dear sister, Ruth Paull and her husband, Frank, of Barrie, Ontario; many nieces and nephews in Canada and Florida and many, many special friends spread throughout the US and Canada.
