William A. "Buzzy"Buswell

William A. "Buzzy"Buswell, 62, a resident of Mountain Loop, passed away July 15, 2015 at his home. Buzzy was born in Boston, MA on January 13, 1953 the son of the late Joseph R. and Sarah (Doherty) Buswell. In his earlier years, Buzzy worked for the City of Boston for five years. Upon moving to Vermont, Buzzy owned and operated Buzzy's Taxi Service and worked as a travel agent at Mt. Snow. He was very active and a member of the West Dover Volunteer Fire Department and former Tax Collector for the Fire District. He was very civically active in West Dover and was also a former Town Selectman and on the Planning Commission. Buzzy enjoyed traveling especially to Foxwoods Casino and was known for his famous Buzzy's punch. Buzzy is survived by his brothers Joseph and John Buswell, Aunt Patricia LeBlanc and Uncle Bill Doherty and many nieces, nephews and cousins. A Mass of Christian death and burial will be celebrated Monday July 20, 2015 at 10am at Our Lady of Fatima Roman Catholic Church in Wilmington. Interment will follow in West Dover Cemetery. Visiting hours will be held Sunday July 19, 2015 from4-7pm at Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home 44East Main Street Wilmington, Vermont. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Buzzy's memory may be made to the West Dover Firefighters Association c/o Covey-Allen & Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 215 Wilmington, Vermont 05363.
