William Hassan

William Hassan, 60, a resident of Willow Brook Drive, passed away Saturday December 18, 2021 at Southwestern Vermont Medical Center. William was born in Manchester, NH on December 19, 1960 the son of the late Emen and Shirley (Melanson) Hassan and attended Waterbury, CT schools. William worked for Gaudiosi Hauling and for the Redemption Center in Wolcott, CT for many years. William enjoyed playing video games, riding his 3-wheel bicycle and spending time with his family. Survivors include his wife Lorraine Stowe whom he married in Bennington in 2009, children Bryan Hassan and Tyler Stowe of Bennington and William Hassan, Jr. of Connecticut, Tiffany and Sabrina Hassan of Bennington and Stephanie Lonergan (Derek) of New York, brothers David Hassan of Georgia, Gary Hassan of Delaware and Emen Hassan of Florida, his sister Shirley Longo of Connecticut and eight grandchildren. At the request of the family there are no formal funeral services. A time of visitation will be held Tuesday January 4, 2021 from 2-4pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT.
