William P Snyder

William P. Snyder, 56, a resident of Grandview Street, passed away August 17, 2022 at Albany Medical Center. Bill was born in the Panama Canal Zone on August 17, 1966 the son of Gail Vose Snyder and the late Perry Robert Snyder. Bill graduated from Mt. Anthony Union High School and attended Hudson Valley Community College. He worked at UST for 6 years, Northern Light Cable (ABC Optical) and JDP as a Production Manager. Bill loved football and was an avid Minnesota Viking’s fan. Bill was a lifelong accomplished musician, enjoyed all music and was a member of the Full House Band. He enjoyed going camping and to the beach. He encountered God in the beauty of those surroundings. Bill was beloved by his family for his protective and loyal nature. Bill is survived by his sons Perry Snyder (Jessica) of Bennington and Trevor Foster of Maine, his mother Gail Snyder Harbour and father Gary Harbour, brothers Joe Snyder of Bennington and Jeff Harbour (Holly) of Maryland, sisters Mindy Nelson (Jesse) of Morrisville, VT and Laurie Kobik (Tod) of North Bennington and grandchildren Jackson Snyder and Tristin Foster, and many nieces and nephews. A celebration of Bill’s life will begin Tuesday August 23, 2022 from 4-6pm at Hanson-Walbridge & Shea Funeral Home 213 West Main Street Bennington, VT. Followed by a reception at the Bennington American Legion Post 13.
