Barbara H Hill

Barbara H. Hill, 81 passed away peacefully at the home of her daughter, Bonnie on Wednesday September 29, 2021 in the company of her loving family. The daughter of Chester Hickok and Hazel Brambley she was born in Philadelphia, PA on April 20, 1940. She received her early education in Pennsylvania , upon her family re-locating to Bennington she attended and graduated from Benn- Hi , she continued her education at the University of Vermont and Southern Vermont College where she earned her degree in Accounting and Business. Barbara had worked in the accounting office of Ben-Mont Paper, Catamount Dyers , Jard Corporation and for over 20 years at Ginsberg’s Food Distributers where she retired. She was an avid reader , with an interest in art she enjoyed visiting museums and listening to classical music, she especially enjoyed being with her great grandchildren. She leaves her daughters Bonnie Rae Hempstead and her husband Dave of Bennington and Julie Huether of Clifton Park, NY, sons Kenneth Huether and his wife Judy of Burlington and Steven Huether of Bennington, brothers Robert Hickok of Bennington, William Hickok of Burlington and Barry Hickok of St. Albans, a sister Linda Corso of Bennington, grandchildren Katelyn, Meghan, Linsie, Stephanie, Duncan and Daniel, great grandchildren Mollie, Eliott, Evelyn, Wyatt and Lydia, as well as nieces, nephews and cousins. Since Barbara was unable to enjoy her 80th birthday celebration due to Covid , the family will have a private Celebration of her Life.
