Brenda J. Holton

Brenda J. Holton, 71, a resident of Old West Road, passed away unexpectedly November 11, 2023 at her home. Brenda was born in Bennington on May 25, 1952 the daughter of the late Roy and Mabel (Johnson) Crofut. She attended and graduated from Arlington Memorial High School. Brenda worked for Quadra-Tek for 47 years retiring as President of the company. Brenda was a member of the American Legion Post 69 Auxiliary in Arlington for 48 years. She enjoyed her coffee, was an avid reader, enjoyed going to "Our Camp on the KellyStand", shopping, travelling especially to Alaska, Florida, and the beaches in Maine. She enjoyed listening to country music, the oldies, loved animals, especially her dog Ruger and cherished time spent with her family especially her granddaughter and great grandchildren. Brenda is survived by her husband Richard Holton of Arlington whom she married July 24, 1970 in Shaftsbury, VT, her daughter Angela F. Denoncourt (Raymond) of Arlington, her granddaughter Valerie Marie Phillips and great grandchildren Fletcher and Karter White, her sisters Donna Young (Denny) of Bennington, and Susan Hoyt and her partner Ed of West Arlington, her brother Glenn Crofut (Brenda) of West Arlington, her Mother in law Lucille,Brother's in law, Sister in law, nieces, nephews, and many cousins A celebration of Brenda’s life will be held and announced at a later date in the spring.
