Vickie Beattie

Vickie L. Beattie, 62, a resident of Peru, passed away March 28, 2018 at her home surrounded by her family. Vickie was born in Mineral Wells, TX on June 11, 1955 the daughter of the late Marlon E. and Carol Ann Sanford Davis. She received her early education in Western NY and graduated from Saratoga Springs High School. Vickie worked at the Manchester Country Store, the Wiley Inn as Innkeeper and cashier at the Bromley Market. Vickie enjoyed baking and watching cooking shows. She was known for her birthday cakes and was the founder of Peru Puppy Cookies. She cared for her 101 year old father-in-law and cherished times spent with her family and friends. Vickie is survived by her husband Stewart Beattie of Peru whom she married August 13, 1983, her son Neal N. Beattie and his fiance Montana Marshia of Manchester, her sister Zoe Dailey and her husband Richard of Manchester, Robert Beattie Father in-law, brother-in-law Conrad Beattie and wife Donah and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. A celebration of the life of Vickie L. Beattie will be held Saturday April 7, 2018 at 11am at the Peru Congregational Church. There are no visiting hours. If friends desire, memorial gifts in Vickie's memory may be made to the Visiting Nurse and Hospice of Vermont and New Hampshire (VNA), c/o Brewster-Shea Funeral Home P.O. Box 885 Manchester Center, VT 05255. A celebration of the life of Vickie L. Beattie will be held Saturday April 7, 2018 at 11am at the Peru Congregational Church. There are no visiting hours.
